Ein Band aus Formholz zieht sich von einem Hinterbein – um die gesamte Sitzfläche – bis zum anderen Hinterbein durch. Es definiert die gesamte Konstruktion und stellt den Verbindungspunkt aller Komponenten des Stuhls dar. Die nach außen gedrehten Hinterbeine verbinden skulpturalen Charakter mit Funktion: Ribbon ist stapelbar und sowohl für den Wohnbereich konzipiert, als auch für den Objektbereich, wie etwa Cafés und Restaurants.
