Nach seinem Bachelorstudium in Produktdesign an der FH Münster machte Cornelius Richter ein Internship bei Thomas Schnur in Köln. Parallel zum anschließenden Masterstudium in Industrial Design an der Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen arbeitete er im dortigen Lehr- und Forschungsgebiet »Design for Sustainability and Circularity«. Nach dem Masterabschluss ist Cornelius Richter als als Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter für die Lehrgebiete »Fachspezifische Grundlagen« und »Form und Kontext« an die Folkwang Universität der Künste zurückgekehrt.
Cornelius Richter graduated with the bachelor's degree in product design at Münster University of Applied Sciences in 2019. After an internship with Thomas Schnur, he studied Industrial Design at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen – where he also worked in the teaching and research area "Design for Sustainability and Circularity". After completing his master's degree, Cornelius Richter returned to the Folkwang University as a graduated research assistant in the teaching fields "subject-specific basics" and "form and context".
